01Who processes your data
- 179dress (Hanoi, Vietnam) decides the purposes and means of processing the personal data you provide on 179dress.com.
- Personal data contact: email [email protected] or Instagram @179dress.
- This policy follows Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree 356/2025/ND-CP. The Vietnamese version prevails in case of any difference.
02Data we collect
- When you order: name, phone number, email, delivery address, items purchased, payment method and voucher code (if any).
- When you register: name, phone number, email and password (passwords are one-way hashed; we cannot see them).
- When you write a product review: the review text, star rating and your display name. Reviews are shown publicly on the product page.
- When you agreed to this policy and which version you agreed to, as evidence when needed.
- Your choice to receive or not receive offers and event news, with the time you chose.
- When you are signed in: when and how often you visit the website, and the products you viewed.
- Every visit: pages you view, products added to your bag, where you came from (e.g. Facebook, TikTok, Google), device type and a province/city estimated from your IP address. We do not store IP addresses; if you have not accepted analytics cookies, these visits only count towards totals and are not linked to you.
- If you accept analytics cookies: your browser stores a random ID so we know visits come from the same (anonymous) person, along with your browser name and version, operating system, device model, screen size and device language. When you order, register or sign in, these visits are linked to your customer details. Rejecting analytics cookies deletes this ID.
- We do not collect sensitive data (health, finances, bank cards, location...). For bank transfers you pay directly in your own banking app; the website never receives card numbers or banking passwords.
03How we use it
- To confirm, pack, deliver and reconcile payment for your orders.
- To email you order status updates (received, confirmed, shipping, delivered, cancelled).
- To handle exchanges, warranty and your questions.
- To manage your account and purchase history.
- Customer care: following up after purchase and advising on sizes and products based on your orders and the products you viewed.
- Only if you tick "Receive offers" (when registering, ordering or on your Account page): sending new collections, offers and event invitations by email, SMS or Zalo. You can turn this off on your Account page or by messaging us at any time; we stop as soon as we receive your request.
- We do not sell personal data or share it with others for advertising.
04Third parties that receive or process data
- Couriers: name, phone number and address to deliver your order.
- Telegram (Telegram Messenger, servers abroad): order details including name, phone number, email, address and items are sent to the shop's internal Telegram accounts so staff can review and process orders.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, servers in the European Union): sends order emails, and offer and event emails if you agreed to receive them.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., servers abroad): the network that keeps the website fast and secure; every visit to the website passes through Cloudflare.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), servers abroad: only if you accept analytics cookies. They receive the pages you view, on-page actions (clicks, scrolling), device, browser and approximate location from your IP address. Clarity masks input fields, so what you type is not recorded.
- Account and order data are stored on the shop's servers in Vietnam.
- Apart from the above, we only provide data to competent authorities when required by law.
05How long we keep it
- Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Order data: for the period required by accounting and tax law, then deleted or anonymised.
- Product reviews: shown until you ask us to remove them.
06Your rights
- To know how your data is processed; to view, correct and receive a copy of your data.
- To withdraw consent, or request restriction of or object to processing.
- To request deletion of your data or account. We may keep order details for the period required by accounting and tax law.
- To complain, report or take legal action as provided by law if your rights are violated.
- You can edit your name, phone number and address on your Account page. For other requests, please email [email protected] with the email or phone number you used.
07How fast we handle requests
- Acknowledging your request: within 2 working days.
- Viewing, correcting or providing a copy of data: within 10 days.
- Withdrawing consent, restricting or objecting to processing: within 15 days.
- Deleting data or an account: within 20 days.
08Protecting your data
- Connections to the website are encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are one-way hashed.
- Only staff handling orders can access the data, through authenticated admin accounts.
- Essential cookies: your browser stores your bag, sign-in session and cookie choices so the website works. These are always on.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising cookies are only turned on when you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page; when you reject, we delete these cookies.
- If a data breach occurs, we will notify the authorities within 72 hours as required and notify you if it affects you.
09Children and policy changes
- If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order and agree to this policy.
- When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page and ask for your consent again at your next order or registration.
